Transporting Waste

Transporting waste is highly regulated to ensure that hazardous or toxic waste is correctly recycled or disposed of and to minimise fly-tipping, which is unsightly and damaging to the environment, costing councils’ large amounts to clean up and dispose of correctly.

The regulations require that any person who transports or makes arrangements for the management of waste in the course of any business must register with the enforcing authority.
